Yet another Mexican which has cropped up in Soho, don’t get me wrong though I am not complaining about the prevalence of taco’s, burritos and guacamole.
PICADILLO BEEF QUESADILLA £6.75
Really rich and tasty shredded beef encased in a sofe quesadilla with melted cheese – sounds massicely OTT but they are pretty thin. Having said that, three is probably too much of the same filling. Would be really fun if you could try 3 different ones, or just order a selection. The sour cream is perfect though to offset the heavy meat flavor.
VERDICT – A good place to go with friends, or be taken for your birthday. The staff are funny and friendly, and it is a good format for sociable eating.
SURROUNDINGS – Bright, gaudy and fun – I really like all the hot sauce bottles. Maybe a bit stereotypical Mexican, but sometimes a bit of tack goes down a treat.
